I understand you goat 🫠🫠 if you aren’t enjoying it you should not force yourself everrrrrrrr, the novels are def better, I think a lot of it is misaligned expectations, the biggest flaw of the anime is the uninspired directing, I think reading arc 6 felt so much less generic if that makes sense, the anime does feel a bit gentrified

Directing peaked in season 1, slowly dropped off in season 2 (understandable), became bland in season 3-4 except for a scant few scenes. Now I understand the anime cant be the novels but truth be told season 1 elevated the material presented in the novel.

arc 6 hurt to watch complete disservice to the novel. The fights where okay at best. but with how much got chopped off I genuinely couldn't care. They defo had a couple amazing moments I won't deny first EP of amnesiabaru and EP 4 in the tunnel where pretty good. I worry immensely though for when they adapt arc 7-8 because it is WAY to big and if they struggled to adapt 5 & 6 god only knows what we boutta witness

I get what you’re saying, imo a lot of it has to do with it being weekly, you read the novel as one continuous story vs where you must take the anime in a week at time with breaks it doesn’t sit as well, and regarding the cut content, it is honestly better than it ever was before especially compared to s2 and s1.

that’s what I’m saying, anime adaptation of season 3 I just noticed a huge difference in production from s1 and s2 to s3 and s4 atleast s4 is way better then s3 but I wanna watch this series and feel like season 1 again💔
