We had many people in our comments who assumed we were just random people who bought a tiger cub and many people asking where they can get a tiger. We want to address this because it’s very important. Rick is not just a normal person with a tiger. Rick owns a USDA licensed zoo and Mowgli is not a personal pet. Mowgli came from another zoo and was not purchased as a pet. The reason Mowgli is inside the house (which is on the zoo property) is because he is not fully vaccinated and we will not allow him outside until our vet clears us for that. Anyone who is wanting a pet tiger needs to know that you cannot legally own one as a pet. Also, this is not Rick’s first Tiger. You can go and see Kai, our female, on our page. Rick has extensive experience with big cats and raising them. You can however enjoy how cute he is on our social media! We will NEVER have tiger encounters available and no visitors will ever be allowed to touch him or interact with him. When he is older and cleared to go outside you can see him in his enclosure if you visit the zoo. We hope that clears a few things up!
