High-Contrast can make a huge difference for someone who is blind or visually impaired. Simple changes like using dark objects against a light background, choosing high-contrast dishes, or making important items stand out from their surroundings can make everyday tasks easier and more efficient. In this video, I show why contrast matters and how small changes can improve visual access and independence. What are some ways you use contrast at home? #BlindOnTheMove #VisionLoss #Accessibility

#creatorsearchinsights #gettingmorefollowersandlikes As a child, apparently the world revolved around one extremely important person: me. I had the confidence of someone who had already been told that every room was built specifically for their entrance. Whether I was dressed as Woody from Toy Story or sitting dramatically in a chair like I was about to give an important speech, I somehow managed to look like I was completely in charge of the situation. The first picture really says everything. There are two children standing there, but somehow my entire body language screams, “Yes, I know you’re looking at me.” The outfit is already doing most of the work—the cowboy hat, the vest, the bandana, the sheriff badge—but apparently that wasn’t enough. I still had to add the hand gesture, as if I were personally directing the photographer. My expression says I had very important business to attend to, and everyone else was simply lucky enough to be present. And then there’s the second picture. I wasn’t just sitting in a chair. No. I was performing. The pose, the expression, the hand movements—everything looks like I had just been given my own television show and was demonstrating exactly how the audience should behave. There’s even a hint of that classic childhood confidence where you don’t care whether what you’re doing makes sense. If it felt right, it was right. I imagine my childhood thought process was something like: “Why should I sit normally when I can make this into a whole production?” I apparently had no interest in simply existing in photographs. Every picture needed a little bit of me. A pose here. A dramatic expression there. A carefully positioned hand. Maybe a costume. Maybe a chair. Maybe an entire cowboy persona. And honestly, the funniest part is that none of it looks accidental. I look like I genuinely believed I was supposed to be the center of attention. I wasn’t asking, “Can I be in the picture?” I was asking, “How can everyone else be in MY picture?”
