i don't even think she said anything stupid. older people DO talk in big chunks, usually using minimal punctuation so it's just a huge block of words with the occasional comma or something 😭 at least in my experience lmao

As a chunk texter, its not always an actual paragraph. Paragraphs have a specific structure that isnt always applied to a big wall of text.

Three to five sentences are common guidelines for a paragraph. But usually, a new paragraph begins when something new is being explained or written, that adds onto, or diverges from what was written in first paragraph. Older generations don’t text in paragraphs, they text in BIG CHUNKS.

Her calling a paragraph a chunk does not mean she’s stupid. It’s just another way to say it because older people do text and chunks or paragraphs. And if a paragraph and a chunk aren’t the same thing bc a paragraph has structure… then she’s right to call it a chunk bc a lot of older people just put a ton of words together without any punctuation or anything, making it a chunk
