I spent my whole pregnancy stressing about never sleeping again with my second baby but turns out my first just didn’t get the memo because my 8 month old has slept through since 6 weeks and my 2.5 yo still doesn’t 😭

Also, on that. Some babies just don’t sleep!!!!! And that’s ok!!!!! People be flipping their babies, giving butter bottles and doing bloody rain dances. Hate to break it to you, sometimes, they just don’t sleep!!! I’m a Mum of a non sleeper. I embraced it in June and stopped trying and since then I feel so much better about it. No routine, no nothing, we winging it and getting as much sleep as we can. It won’t be forever! P.s we tried a strict routine… my girl doesn’t give a shitttt. She doesn’t like sleep.

I feel for the mummas who dont get the long sleep stretches. I have a 3.5yo and 19mth old. Both from the age of 8 weeks slept through the night. Started at 8hrs.... once they were 10wks old have done 12-13hrs and still do. Both go to bed by 6-6.15pm and I see them at 7am, sometimes 7.30-8 for my 19mth old. I remember the 6wk trenches of 2hrly feeds but that also feels like an eternity ago. Every bubby is so so different!

My 6 week old sleeps ~5.5 hours! I won’t let her go more than that. She needs to eat and keep blood sugar regulated. And she’s not sleep trained at all. I’ll then feed her and she sleeps again for another 2.5-3 hours! So I get around 5 hours of sleep per night! I’m so thankful!

3 month old boy sleeps thru the night, but loves to be awake during the day which I’m not worried about…. Babies are all so different and will do what they want to do

6th baby and I’m up every hour like clock work with my 4 month old hahahahaha not one of mine have ever slept through before the age of 2 I do nottttt understand the 8/9 hour sleepers
