I have the ATM mutation (there’s like 26 of them) only diff with BRCA is BRCA has slightly higher chance of breast cancer. I had a 4 mm pre cancer lesion, precancer stage 0. Had mastectomy Aug 10. One of my daughters also + and my son! My daughter just had a prophylactic mastectomy 9/10 and she’ll have a prophylactic hysterectomy after she has another child. I had a total hysterectomy 2 years ago due to an ovarian cyst.

My mom had uterine & breast cancer. My sister had uterine & breast cancer. I was just diagnosed with uterine & breast cancer!!! Had genetic testing. No correlation! Why??? How good this be???

I am 31 years old. Lost my mom to ovarian cancer. I am Scheduled for a bilateral masectomy on Jan 26th. I just went for a second opinion in Boston and she completely made me feel like I was Ludacris for doing this before having children, I am so confused and lost now. Wish I could afford to have you as my surgeon

Breast, ovarian and pancreatic cancer! I inherited brca1 from my dad, through my grandpa. My grandpa and great grandma both passed from pancreatic cancer and my dad luckily found out kind of by accident that he was brca1. Luckily I knew bc I was getting screened and caught my triple negative cancer when I was 32 before it spread.

A Dr Joseph Russo on instagram has posted a video basically saying he doesn’t like motiva implants and they aren’t researched enough. Do you think he has a point or is he not properly board certified so can’t use them👀

Awww, this is so sad. My sister got breast cancer at 32 and found out she had a BRCA1 mutation. I tested negative but I put it off for a full year. It was very difficult to get myself to test because I didn’t want to know my fate if it was going to be positive. I can’t believe how lucky I got, just pure luck.
