I was in the last race, V8 warriors . I fell asleep on the grid about 2:30am waiting to race. I finished 3rd at 3:00am . I did a donut to take it in.

I spent a lot of time there as a kid. My Dad worked on Donny Tanners car 88 for years. Turns out my Fiance spent time with a racer not sure which one and we were able to our kids before it was shut down. very sad!!

my mom and dad spent my childhood there. I remember being outside with my dad while he built his cars all the time. he raced limited stock under tnt..... I hate that my kids don't get to experience the same stuff

They were my neighbors. The lights lit up my bedroom and it sounded like cannon balls being shot into my house when they did fireworks. They had a hungry howies we use to walk to get pizza from ❤️❤️

Grew up right there on turn 1 watching my dad. Later on, we raced karts there and eventually big cars all the way up until it closed. Many many memories at this place gone to another big corporation.

I was there the first time they raced there. And I was there the last time. I saw probably 99% of the races ever run at East Bay. The only Winter Nationals I missed was 1989, I had been in an accident at work and was in the hospital. Even then, one of my best friends bought the videos after each night of the nationals and brought it to the hospital so I could watch it the next day. I've seen some of the best drivers ever race there. The last couple years have been hard when January comes around. I was in high school the first time they raced. And I'm retired now. So yeah, I've got some memories of East Bay. To say the least.
