day in the life of a marketing manager living in los angeles, ca 🤍 i have bigggg news — if you work in tech/AI startups, you’ll get how huge this is — we just announced our series a funding round led by a16z!!!! 🥳🥳🥳 i led the entire campaign with the help of my team - months of planning, designing, aligning, and executing and i’m so happy it’s finally out in the world. i can finally sleep without being anxious hahaha never in a million years did i think i’d be leading something at this scale with the smallest amount of heads possible. coordinating videographers, designers, PR teams, investors, and the absolute sharpest minds in the industry (i mean… a16z?!?!). when my ceo first told me the news, i was in complete shock. i knew i was betting on a company with real potential, but seeing it validated by one of the most respected firms felt surreal. between traveling for work, meeting customers, building booths at conferences, and keeping everything running, i honestly don’t know how it all came together. but somehow, it did. and i’m so, so grateful. my life right now is the busiest it’s ever been. i’m tired, sure, but not in a burnt-out way. in a deeply fulfilled, gratitude-filled way. i feel lucky every day for the career i’ve built, the people in my life, and the moments i get to live through. when i was in college, i thought i’d be the “fun creative marketer “ in emojis: 💅🏻🌝🛍️ kind of marketer. now, as i step into more senior roles, i’m realizing how much i love the structure: the strategy, the planning, the forecasting. it’s wild to see how my career has evolved from coordinating marketing to actually shaping how a brand grows. i do a lot of building behind the scenes and honestly, i’m proud of that. people often ask, “how did you know this was the right path?” and the truth is, i didn’t. i don’t think there’s ever a perfectly right decision. life isn’t math. i’ve learned that it’s less about making the “right” choice and more about choosing, then proving to yourself that the choice you made was right. at the end of the day, that’s what growth feels like - trusting yourself enough to keep moving forward, even when you don’t have all the answers. i know some people might read this and think, “that’s not the life i’d ever want.” and that’s okay, it’s not meant to be everyone’s dream. the point isn’t to say this is the life to chase. it’s that everyone’s version of fulfillment looks different. someone’s reality can be someone else’s dream — and both can be true. i just hope that by sharing pieces of my world, the work, the lessons, the mess, and the magic, someone out there feels a little more inspired. inspired to grow, to keep going, or to simply trust that they’re on the right path. if that happens for even one person, then i’ve done my job. that’s really what i want my presence here to be. honest, human, and real. see you in my next vlog!
