We're bound by our own perception. Bound by our own reality. It would be very hard for us to even understand the way these other beings work. We work within our own realm... they could work completely differently. We keep looking for little green men and flying saucers, but what if true alien life is so advanced, so different, that it's invisible to us? What if it's operating on a frequency, in a dimension, or in a form we simply don't have the senses to perceive?
