I feel like the only people that support him are state of California employees. People that work and like local small governments because they’re being fed pamphlet and ideas how great the California government is they live a different reality than the rest of us in private sectors

I think Newsom pushed the right policies, but he miscalculated the budget fluctuations after covid. He focused heavily on the huge systemic issues like healthcare (medi-cal), building more housing to make housing more affordable, and tons of investments in education like free preschool for 4 year olds, free summer school, and huge budgets for schools in general. I love all that stuff, it’s investing in the future. The problem came when tech companies skyrocketed during covid, the investments into education healthcare and housing went up. Then, tech companies came back down to earth, and suddenly we were way over-budget. So I think he focused on the right things but miscalculated how much the budget would come back down. Idk, with CA’s complex problems, I would say maybe like a B grade

Absolutely not. His ego is his biggest problem. If his mouth is moving he is lying. This state has been struggling politically for sometime it he made it so much worse. He is no doubt a thief. I worked for the state for 34 years and there is some dirty shit with some departments
