@lovehandleclay: This is the yellow glaze from a series of collar tests I did. They all include red iron oxide, if you're keeping score at home 🙃 That really does not have much to do with anything other than I thought. It was a coincidence that I liked the three glazes from the red iron oxide, tolerant in the 36 different color combination test. This was a solid content. I think it would be just fine at cone 8. Maybe even a hot cone 7. But I do know that it is a little unfired at ∆6 Even though it's green counterpart looks fine at 6. It might be of interest to mention that this is also a Bristol glaze, which includes zinc, and that also increases the melt/ decreases the mature temperature.
