As an African writer, this also came up in one of my poetic readings, and fortunately for me, the piece I was reading had been written back in 2017 and was part of my first-ever written poem; hence, I had to provide the book in which I had written it. Also, luckily, I have this obsession with dates, and it carried the date on which it had been written, which was my saving grace!
