Hey Hun! The metal ring with the yellow twist part is to tighten the hose around the Faucet. However, the hose is usually smaller than most faucets so you’ll probably never use it. I have a twin tub like this and I usually put it in the tub and use my detachable shower head to fill it and it drains easier in the tub. You can also fill it up with a bucket. The twin tub is really convenient to have and a money saver. Enjoy! 😊
