If you’re familiar with Pokémon cards it’s basically just people gambling to get rare cards worth up to hundreds or thousands depending on the rarity. So people who sell them for profit scoop it all up before collectors or actual players of the card game can get them and mark them up to horrid prices. So finding them at market price is a basically a goldmine
