It almost hit another vehicle. Officer Cornielson told her to get out. They ID'd her as Karen Carbonara. While chatting, he smelled booze on her breath. He spotted other signs she was drunk. The worker said no charges if she paid for the vape. Officer Cornielson walked her inside. She bought it. She wobbled in and out. A car search turned up an open wine bottle on the front passenger floor. Karen owned up to drinking it that day. He suspected she was impaired. So he asked for sobriety tests.
