OMG, thank you for acknowledging the vibes of the paramedic! I thought the same exact thing! He kind of gave a narcissist vibe. Like he was above being there. He totally gave the impression that he didn’t want to be there and seemed super annoyed.

My paramedic theories, in order of likelihood, I think: A) he's got PTSD from his job and is kinda dead inside (I've known 2 EMTs in my life, they both were really unemotional from all the awful things they've seen) B) he's irritated to be there cuz it's cutting into his work schedule. paramedics don't make nearly enough C) the gal swearing him in is his ex girlfriend 😂🤷🏼♀️

Not sure if anyone else caught this 911 call he says he wasn’t with the girls, they wanted him to check on them. Then on the phone with his mom he said he was/in with the girls when it happened. I was like wait that’s 2 different stories.

The paramedic, I felt so uncomfortable watching him at first but noticed that when he first mentioned she was dead he seemed like he was on the verge of tears. His bottom lip trembled. I also sensed he was being very careful and thoughtful about his responses as he was speaking. To me it just gave the impression he was defensive and didn't want to be there!

My theory on the paramedic: he made a comment at the scene that Ashley’s death was “fresh.” I wonder if during trial prep, he got scolded pretty hard for that because it doesn’t line up with the prosecution’s theory of the case (and because determining time of death is beyond his scope as a paramedic) so he was pissed and defensive from the start.

I caught the same thing but found him engaging in the stand, but something certainly felt off. Most of these people worked nights from testimony, so maybe daytime is tough? Idk. 🤷🏻♀️
