I have this problem right now. A few days ago, I went to my doctor for an adjustment, and I told them I have swollen gums on my upper right molar. This is the first time I’ve experienced this in 10 months, during which I’ve been consistently visiting my doctor for adjustments. The last adjustment included a deep cleaning, and I can’t remember if I was diagnosed with gingivitis or periodontitis. He prescribed just chlorhexidine and said to monitor it for a while. It’s been four days, and I still feel pain, which is making me anxious 😭. I immediately bought an Oral-B Vitality toothbrush because I already use floss. Do you think I should let them know I still feel pain or just wait and monitor again for another week? Thanks for your reply if you have one, doc 🥹
