First and foremost, I feel immense joy and pride to have represented Ethiopia as a cultural artist at the 2026 BRICS program in India. This was a truly extraordinary event, bringing together not only BRICS members but also major global powers and world leaders. Stepping out onto the global stage to stand and showcase alongside other nations truly amplifies the sweetness and deep love one has for their homeland. Indeed, our country knows us, even if we sometimes fail to recognize each other. Glory be to God, who enabled me to participate in such a prestigious event and allowed me to showcase the culture and identity of my people and nation. My heartfelt thanks to the Ministry of Culture and Sport Ministry,Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, the Ethiopian Embassy in India, all the artists from around the world who shared this experience with us, and the entire team of organizers at the Ethiopian Embassy in India.
