@lumengentiummedia: WHEN THE CATHOLIC CHURCH GIVES NO EXPLANATION FOR A SEMINARIAN’S EXPULSION — IS SILENCE ACTUALLY WISDOM? In my previous post about the controversy involving EBUKA OBI and the Benue woman, I never said EBUKA OBI was fake; I questioned whether a person must be publicly disgraced simply because allegations or controversies arise—and this Catholic letter gives us a lesson many Christians desperately need to learn. Look closely: this is an expulsion letter, yet the reason is not publicly stated, and some may see that as suspicious, but Catholics should understand that protecting a person's reputation and future can be more Christian than satisfying the public's appetite for details. The Catholic Church can tell someone, “You cannot continue with us,” without telling the whole world, “Here is everything you did wrong.” That is not necessarily weakness, cover-up, or lack of transparency; sometimes it is precisely what it means to correct a person without permanently destroying the person—and Canon 220 explicitly protects the good reputation and privacy of the faithful. So here is the uncomfortable question for every Catholic, especially those who operate prayer ministries and publicly identify themselves as Catholic: when someone falls, fails, or is removed, are you trying to restore the person or are you enjoying the opportunity to expose the person? If your Christianity requires another person's disgrace before you can prove that you are right, then perhaps the problem is not the person who fell—it is our understanding of Catholic identity. #fypシ #foryoupage #foryou #capcut #fyp

SHIKA :
I guess this is not about giving no explanation but rather just as this very official letter has found its way into public space the details of the dismissal is communicated to the seminarian over numerious ocassions privitely and opportunity of improvement is given depending on the gravity of the issue at stake. It does not take just a single incident for such unfortunate dismissal to happen.

If the letter was meant to be public, disclosure of the reason for explosion is not needed, and is breach of privacy

this reason should have been stated, it’s not anything to protect their image..they were expelled because they had iphones..how will people know that i use an iphone tarnish my image? or the diocese refused to include the reason because people will find it funny?
