My friend is very wealthy which I know isn’t he point. I always get her a thoughtful grift, card etc. when she had her baby later in life I also spoiled the baby. My husband said she literally gets you a birthday card for your bday and has never bought any of my 3 kids anything! So I stopped. After 30 years of friendship I realised! She also speaks to me like shit 🤣 it’s taken me a long time to see

I feel like if you want to give someone something, do it, you don’t have to feel like you owe something to something nor should you make them feel like they owe you something. If you like giving, them give, don’t wait and expect people to do the same if they don’t want to. If others like to give to you, they appreciate it and show them you appreciate it. Maybe give back to them if that makes you feel happy to do. Why are people making everything so hard nowadays 💔
