i don’t hate her, but she’s not my favorite. you guys spin it so if we don’t say lizzie is our favorite then “oh my god you hate lizzie” like no… the things that lizzie has said to gibsie have literally made people off themselves, and would HATE her in real life and call her a bully, but when it comes to the book, she’s the “most iconic bad bitch”. hugh and joey are both lower on my list than lizzie is.

“She pushed gibs into the water!!” She literally didn’t though patrick says that Gibsie stumbled and fell into the water not to mention the fact everyone was yelling at him to move away from the water but he just kept backing up and getting closer and closer to the river bank or wtv it was and then after she keeps apologizing because she didn’t mean for him to fall into the water but yall are to stuck in your minds to see that she didn’t mean to do it

Honestly, I didn't like him before R10, and that hasn't really changed much. I don't like the way he acts around all the characters, and I didn't grow attached to him. The only reason I like him a little more now is because we've been given an explanation for his behavior.

Idk why this fandom expects Lizzie to be nice or even neutral to gibise at the given moment. Like joey was worse to Paul/the BROTHERS of shans bullies for WAY less. (And yes! Beating up/insulting an asshole who’s a shit guy to his own gf or beating up literal inoffensive brothers who YOU know weren’t involved but you “can’t hit girls” is less than believing one of your best Friends in the entire world sided with (who u believe) is your sisters rapist (and who you were manipulated into thinking was the reason) your sister was murdered.) but no one care bc gibsie is in the core ten and Paul is a side character. Actually this was proven to me bc someone lit argued they don’t care abt (random) boys joey beat up for Shan bc we “don’t know them” but we know gibise therefore Lizzie is “basically” evil for not treating him with kindness. I’m a firm believer if marks “brother” was a side character who was once Lizzie’s close friend rather than core ten no one would care. Or if Katie was a side character like (cough cough Paul) no one would give two shits about the “supposed” cheating that hasn’t happened.
