@thatguy__401: Providence,R.I.- September 19, 2026 DEVELOPING: Providence Police Patrol and Detectives are currently on scene in the area of the Wendy’s on Charles Street after a male was seriously injured in a stabbing. As I arrived on scene, first responders were performing CPR and other life saving measures on the victim as he was rushed to the hospital. A large portion of the Wendy’s and Walmart parking lot has been closed off and is being treated as part of the crime scene. With a club nearby, law enforcement is maintaining a heavy presence in the area as the investigation continues. At the time, officers were canvassing the area for a suspect. This remains a fluid and developing scene. Information at this time is based on what I personally observed on scene and radio traffic I monitored.
