@auraheavytypeshi: And I’ll ghost the whole world if I have to protect my peace. Not because I hate anyone. Not because I think I’m better than people. Sometimes I just need to disappear from the noise long enough to hear myself again. No explaining. No constantly checking my phone. No forcing conversations when I don’t have the energy to talk. No carrying everyone else’s emotions while quietly ignoring my own. There are moments when I need to step away, pray, think, reset, and remember what actually matters to me. But I’m also learning that protecting my peace doesn’t mean disappearing from people who genuinely care about me without a word. Sometimes maturity is simply saying: “I’m going through something right now. I need some space. It’s nothing personal.” Because peace shouldn’t require hurting good people unnecessarily. So if I become quieter, more distant, or less available for a while, understand that sometimes I’m just finding my way back to myself. I’ll always have love for my people. I’m just learning that I can’t constantly pour into everyone while leaving myself empty. Sometimes protecting your peace means closing the door on chaos. Other times, it just means turning the noise down for a while.
