As a Welshman, I love the idea of Welsh nationalism, but with independence we would be isolated. Us and England are so interconnected that independence would genuinely cut us off.

They refuse to acknowledge that the independance would only benefit england, the rest of them would be placed in a defecit. And either way, northern ireland dont want independance from the united kingdom based on the amount of pollls done there.

W bcs leaving European Union was already a mistake so independence would leave doors opened for Wales and Scotland since Northern Ireland would already join Republic of Ireland. Also my bf and his family were all against leaving EU and they’re all Welsh, it makes it harder for them to travel and economy of UK has gone downhill since they left EU 🤷‍♀️
