@nearandfardestinations: Another night in Thailand and another experience I probably wouldn’t have had at home. 😂🥊🇹🇭 Tonight I went to watch 8 Muay Thai fights. It cost 1,400 baht and that included the shuttle there and back, so it was a pretty easy decision to give it a try. The stadium was only about a quarter full, but honestly, I didn’t really care. I was there to experience something different, watch some fights and have a fun night. This was actually my second time watching Muay Thai in Thailand. The first was on my very first trip to Thailand, when I went with Phaereeya in Chiang Mai. That night is still one of my favourite memories from that trip, so when I had the chance to go again, I figured why not? That’s probably one of my favourite things about travelling. I like having a plan, but I also love finding those little experiences along the way that you might not normally think about. You don’t have to climb a mountain or go on some crazy adventure either. Sometimes it’s just going to watch a local sporting event, trying food you’ve never had, wandering around a market or saying yes when someone suggests something you’ve never done before. Those are often the things I end up remembering most. So yes, 8 fights was enough for one night. 😂 What’s something you’ve tried while travelling that you would never normally do at home?
