The really sad part is that the portions have gotten smaller as the prices have gone up. Ordered two breakfast sandwiches last week and the looked like sliders. And…the food is nowhere close to the quality it used to be - for fast food that is.

Can’t blame McDonalds as long as people are willing to pay that much for garbage. Who’s smarter? Fools and their money are soon parted. 😊

I remember in the early 80s 29 cent hamburgers & 39 cent cheeseburgers, 59 & 69 cent quarter pounder & big macs, 39 and 49 cent large fry & large sodas. The whole large Big Mac or Quarter Pounder combo meal was like a $1.70ish out the door and now it's over $12....utterly unjustified & uncalled for.✌

When I look at this chart it shows me how much our dollar has been devalued by constant borrowing & printing more $ endlessly.. You could buy a home in the 70's with a bar of gold: you still can... just thinking out loud here..🤔

So for less that a $1.25 you could get an entire meal. I don’t think so.

And the 75 cent Big Mac was bigger and tastes better than today’s. My dogs loved the 22 cents fries but won’t touch today’s fries.
