I'm genuinely such an insecure individual it isnt even funny. I feel genuinely annoyed and angry when somebody else has been through the same things as me or had it worse than me, to a point I'm even envious that I don't have it worse and not all attention is on me. Deep down I just want to be loved and be able to give that love back, but it seems impossible because I physically can't force myself to feel compassion for someone else beyond just seeing them as an object I find attractive and may brag about later. It sounds corny as shit but theres no one who genuinely understands me

I can deeply relate to the symptoms of covert npd. I have a burner account on Reddit where I post on the npd subreddit so no one else knows it’s me but I always get a lot of upvotes. Simultaneously I’ve been strongly attracted to/strongly repelled by many narcissistic individuals.
