As a Japanese person, I find the use of “Jap crap” deeply offensive. “Jap” has a long history as an anti-Japanese slur, particularly during World War II. Using it to describe Japanese people or Japan is not simply criticism. It is a derogatory ethnic slur. Imagine hearing your own nationality used as an insult and then seeing it casually used in a video to demean an entire group of people. That is how this feels to Japanese people. You have every right to criticize Japan, Japanese products, or anything else you dislike. But there is no need to use an ethnic slur to make that criticism. I respectfully ask that you remove the video and avoid using this kind of language in the future.
