Genuinely convinced the people who hated the movie because it “wasn’t Resident Evil enough” are just fake fans. Like did we play the same games? 💀 Most of the games have a bunch of heavily mutated bosses and enemies. It’s not JUST a zombie game, there’s a shii ton of different creatures. This movie was 100% a resident evil movie, from the pov of a regular guy trying to survive the outbreak of raccoon city (news flash, 99% of the people didn’t get a happy ending).

Easter eggs are cool and all, but if you named this movie ”monsters”, not only does it not change the film AT ALL, but it would be more accurate considering they call them monsters multiple times, yet the word zombies wasn’t used once. 8-10 movie. 4-10 resident evil movie.
