@ukcountycrimestories: Charlie Stefano grabbed a woman he knew by the throat on two separate occasions during the same attack — dragging her across the floor, holding her over a staircase and snapping her phone in half when she tried to call for help. She escaped when he was briefly distracted and fled to a nearby petrol station in the early hours of the morning, where members of the public called the police on her behalf.
