when i worked at a&w, there was a homeless guy in the winter who came in asking for help, nobody wanted to help him and backed away as if he was a monster. at that point in my life i was just recovering from homelessness so i went outside, bought him some food and just talked to him. he cried tears for my kindness, just like anyone else would have.
