@weneedtotalkpod: Follow this account for more conversations we usually avoid. Growing up around her dad’s addiction affected @Kelly Osbourne in ways she only understood years later... ❤️🩹 #weneedtotalk #kellyosbourne
One of the best scenes is when she’s throwing a fit and Sharon tells ozzy to go talk to her, he walks in, she’s screaming at her, and then comes back to Sharon and “don’t ask me to do that again” 🤣

She was a bit of a brat but if you know who her dad is you’d understand the teenage angst she must’ve felt

My dad died an alcoholic but deep down he was broken after my mum died he was the best dad the most hard worker guy u will meet he wasn’t a bad man for drinking he was hurt and lost. Ultimately it killed him 9 years after my mum died I used to be so angry at him how can u mum died of cancer she would have given anything to be with us and her grandkids but he was so hurt and lost without her and I understand that now

I’ll admit I didn’t judge her but I kinda judge her parents because I was like why did he do the things he did and why did Sharon allow it to happen? Then I saw an episode where he was talking about dying or something and Kelly got quiet. He’s like what’s wrong with you and like I don’t wanna talk about my dad dying and he was like oh I didn’t know it bothered you. I’m sorry. The episode went something like that. So I was like wow he really didn’t realize the things that he was doing affected her so deeply. But it was too late I guess and so she had trauma and I think that’s what she’s speaking to.

ACA is a lot harder. She is spot on. Claudia Black, author, “It will never happen to me “ taught me so much about what role I had in my alcoholic home.
