When my baby was little I would BF her in public! Scary at first but then it got easier. Now I have a 10month old I hide in the car, people are less accepting of BF older babies 😭 I feel like I’m back at square one. I want to keep BF her but i am finally able to get out more with her. I wish it was more accepted in general.

Anyone breastfeeding you are part of a return to power. Revel in that. (For those who wanted to know and weren’t supported im sorry and it’s not your fault it’s because society brainwashed people with these ideas that it was almost lost entirely in some societies.)

My second child is 6 months old and today I breastfed in public without a cover for the first time😭 I was so nervous that someone would say something but it’s a warm day in Melbourne and baby hates the cover (why I only really feed at home or in closed door parents rooms). Now I’m more determined to keep focusing on baby’s needs and not other people’s misogynistic and anti-child opinions 👏
