I once got so frustrated with my daughter in the morning and she cried as I dropped her off. I got to my office and started crying, I told my boss that I wasn’t feeling well and left and checked her out immediately. I got at her eye level and apologized to her. We went and did everything she wanted.

I once shouted at my son, who kept coming out his room into mine during bedtime. I finally had enough, brought him back into his bed and walked out. I checked on him one last time, he was on the floor, I shouted at him, and put him back on his bed. He started crying saying he wanted to sleep on the floor. I felt awful, he was literally doing what I asked n I thought he was just messing around. He ended up sleeping with me bc I felt so bad
