I have taken to categorizing, rearranging, and making a true effort to enjoy what I have in recent months and I am slowing down on the purchases. I made a rule that I really have to LOVE a scent, not just like it, to add it to the shelves. I so feel what you describe. No judgment.

Apparently the first step is admitting we have a problem. Ok. Step 2?…. Ugh oh here’s a question. How do you respond to people out in public who make a face or say something about “too much perfume” when you walk by? I mean….. I don’t even put that much on. People are so damn sensitive lol

I've started looking at my collection and being disgusted. It's too much and I don't even reach for 2/3rds of them. I buy them impulsively in person and love boutiques. I think it has to do with connecting with people over something I'm passionate about and feeling less lonely. The high of buying a new perfume was actually the high of connecting. My goal now is a curated perfume collection where fragrances are sampled and tested before buying a bottle, and finding those that share my passion.

This is sooo interesting. Luckily I stuck to discovery samplers. I have a bowl of them in my kitchen. I also have zero desire to cook or bake.

so what I've noticed is it get better. I collected about 100 in 6 months. Could not resist the craving! 3 years later I still crave but my self management is much better. On Zepbound! I love the community and still chase the newest note obsession but the addition is real! Lol I am also an Addiction Counselor, apparently it doesn't make me exempt 😂. Nice to me you! 😁

I liked fragrance before glp 1, so I stick to 5-6 samples a month if that. I can afford it, but I like to really see if I’m going to wear it and enjoy it.
