Rather invest in invoice factoring with even stronger security than a bond! example, Amazon 10 year bond yield is 5.71%, invoicing factoring fund roughly 8-9% with insurance and paid out before bond holders if it were to fail. also capital in nature and not income.

I did this 5 years ago but bought $250k of XOM (Exxon has also always raised dividends) and if you reinvested them for that 5 years you would have almost 900k like me. Follow me for more advice (j/k) I have always invested in energy, it’s the most politically predictable.
