Yup my rent is $1375. One of my friends said her mortgage for her house that her and her husband bought back in 2021 before the housing boom with eve 2.5% interest rate is $1400. I’m super jealous and wish I’d divorced and gone back to school earlier in my life lol

Well, my rent was $950 2 years ago. Landlord sold the property. We bought a 2 bedroom, 1 bath in Grand Rapids Charter Township and mortgage is almost 2k. But the place we were renting that got taken over by a management company is now $1500 smh

Well, you know what do you think our house payments are I guess if you want a house and rent it out in your house payment $1200 and you rent it out for 14 or 15 you’re really not making any money

I've been so lucky that the person that owns my building doesn't hike the cost every year. I'm paying 1300 for an ok place. It's still p expensive for what it is but every year it's minimal changes... rent here is unattainable for most people
