My ex best friends mom felt like a 2nd home to me. I didn’t have a good mom (dad went 3 for 3 on child abusers) so having a mom to look up to really impacted me positively. When I finally got my own place 4 yrs later and seeing the uncle that lived w them had 4 charges for child rpe OMFG I’ve never felt more betrayed. I stayed there every other night. I changed clothes, swam, showered, danced in that house. I am still angry when I remember. I let her know as soon as I found out that I will never ever forgive her and that hatred in my heart will probably never go away
