@jasminepgreen: A little over two months ago, I found out that a big creator had taken a video from my series, The Neuroscience of Making $1,000,000, & made it his own without properly crediting me. The video went viral on Instagram &, honestly, the entire situation made me uncomfortable. For the first time, I spoke up for myself publicly &, in doing so, opened the floor for a much bigger conversation about fairness, race, credit & what happens when smaller creators have their work taken by people with much larger platforms. I recorded this video then, but I never posted it here. He eventually reached out to apologize & took the video down, which I genuinely appreciated. Part of me felt like once the situation was resolved, I should just leave it alone. But I also realized that keeping this video sitting in my drafts felt like keeping a piece of the experience with me. So today, I’m releasing it & moving forward. I haven’t posted another video in The Neuroscience of Making $1,000,000 series since all of this happened. That changes now.
