@adampikelivin: MOOSE DIP SANDWICH😮‍💨🫎 Tender moose, caramelized onions, toasted garlic bread, horseradish mayo and a homemade cheese sauce all dipped into that flavour-packed au jus. Unreal! INGREDIENTS🛒 For the moose & au jus: • 1 bottle bottled moose, drained • 2 large onions, sliced • 1/2 cup beef broth • 2 tbsp olive oil • 1 tbsp soy sauce • 1 tsp brown sugar • 1 tsp mustard • 2 bay leaves • 1/2 tsp dried thyme • Paprika • Garlic powder • Onion powder • Chili flakes • Salt and pepper For the cheese sauce: • 1/2 cup heavy cream or milk • 1 tsp cornstarch • 1 cup shredded mozzarella • Splash of water if needed For the sandwich 🥪 • 1 baguette • Garlic butter • Horseradish mayo INSTRUCTIONS👨‍🍳 1. Add the sliced onions to a pot with olive oil. Season with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili flakes, salt and pepper. 2. Add the soy sauce and brown sugar, then cook over medium-low heat until the onions are soft and caramelized. 3. Add the bottled moose, beef broth, mustard, bay leaves and dried thyme. Let everything simmer together so the moose heats through and all those flavours get into the au jus. 4. For the cheese sauce, add the cream and cornstarch to a saucepan and whisk together over low heat. Add the shredded mozzarella and keep stirring until completely melted, smooth and thickened. 5. Slice the baguette, spread it with garlic butter and broil until golden and toasted keep an eye on it! 6. Remove the moose and onions from the au jus, then chop everything a little finer. 7. Spread horseradish mayo over the toasted baguette, pile on the moose and onions, then drizzle that cheese sauce all over the top. 8. Pour the au jus into a bowl, dip that sandwich and enjoy! This one was absolute FIRE.
