I agree with you. My dad immigrated from Egypt because he was born and raised Christian and wanted to live in a place where he could freely worship Jesus. He raised us to put Jesus as the center of life. I am a believer myself and depend on the Lord for everything.

Our neighborhood was hosting a block party and was going to do it pot luck style where everyone brings a dish of their own. One of the Muslim families in our neighborhood said they “didn’t want to see pork” at the block party. My dad (a first generation Serbian) , and the other HOA members (including first generation Indian and Chinese parents) were like, no, we’re not going to ban pork. We can have separate tables and label dishes with ingredients, but this is America, we’re not going to dictate what food people can bring to a block party. That family didn’t stay, but they dropped off some Islam-promoting flyers on the day of. The audacity.

Agree so much!! Pilgrims and Puritans, in the 1620s and 1630s, these groups did leave England to escape religious persecution. Other Refuges, Catholics in Maryland and Quakers in Pennsylvania also sought safe places to worship away from European state churches. It was FOUNDED on Christianity and Christian values.
