@themoderatecase: You don’t have to worship Elon Musk to admit the obvious: he’s been a net positive for humanity.

texas_a$$hole❌ :

Yes, he did. The UN wouldn’t give him the itemized use of the money so he declined.

B📀 :

cuh dey board

Ghost :

42million people times 365 days is over 15 billion meals. Are we supposed to believe each meal costs less than 50 cents?

Nihari :

He 100% offered

Aerius :

if a single billionaire could solve world hunger…imagine what the world governments could do…

bkeith8700 :

Elon knew they'd just waste and embezzle that money

daveydogxx :

I remember this. he did actually offer up to 15 billion to end hunger. they did give him the number but then they could not give him a comprehensive plan on how they were going to spend the money. as far as I know the offer still open. he said once you give me a plan I will give you a check.

MAI :

So basically every single government on earth and thousands of corporations could have ended world hunger every single fiscal year since the invention of the automobile, but because Elon mentioned it he’s now guilty of the crime of what… not personally ending world hunger….?

Rivenluvsu :

Rebecca :

Money couldn’t end world hunger. It’s just not that simple.

Phillip Moore :

They did NOT do an itemized breakdown. They just put that number out there with no info on how they got the number.

lowkeysavage092 :

Elon Musk is one of the best people in the world. It makes no sense other than people being brainwashed he gets any hate at all.

RRF :

thats how you start every fairy tale, once upon a time

Andrew William :

"once upon a time"🤣🤣

KronusAJD :

So if they want his money he wants an itemised bill I don’t see how that’s a negative on him. He wants to see where his money goes because we all know these “non profits” executives are taking million dollar salaries

someRandomShmo2 :

to actually solve world hunger you would have to re-colonize the third world. its not a simple clean answer like "the greedy trillionaire" needs to step up.

Visne :

he did lol

Lax :

ending world hunger is extremely easy but will never happen because of greed and im not even speaking of any kind of charity

Jason “ジェイさん” Jordan :

The UN backed down when Elon told them he wanted a detailed breakdown of how the money would be allocated and wanted to know why they hadn’t solved world hunger when they routinely raise the money they said they would need from him.

dullly :

Give a man a fish, and he will never learn to fish.

Sean :

Except they did give a plan and Elon bailed

Fact Check First Initiative :

Elon Musk didn’t offer to solve world hunger; he issued a challenge he never followed through on.In 2021, the UN stated $6 billion could save 42 million people from starving. Musk tweeted he would sell Tesla stock to fund it if they proved exactly how the money would be spent. The UN published a detailed breakdown, but Musk never replied or made the donation.

c2niethe :

in your own video, you literally describe how Elon musk actually offered to end world hunger...

lupilupi245 :

No amount of money will solve world hunger - do you think Africa does not have money ??
