@pawportunities_rescue: Ozzy is a 9 month old cocker spaniel/poodle mix. He was purchased from a Petland not that long ago. Since then, his family realizes they don’t have time for him. Ozzy now finds himself scared and confused as to how he ended up in a shelter, when he just had a family and a home he called his own. In his world, he doesn’t know what changed, or what happened, or did he do something? He’s a happy go lucky little spirit, whom unknowingly went with glee as he was handed over to someone at the shelter. It wasn’t until he was back in the kennel area, beginning to turn the corner, that it dawned on him this wasn’t a place dogs want to be. While a shelter will help keep them safe, and out of harms way- it is not a home, and it is a very rude awakening to dogs that are accustomed to that lifestyle. Ozzy really needs a soft place to land, where he can grieve loosing his entire world, and process through that. A place where someone can help him maintain his confidence, and quickly regain his positive nature. If you are interested I. Petland sucks. I worked there in the 80s. They had a freezer for dead animals. They wouldn't treat a sick animal. They bought from puppy mills. It was horrible
