I love upcycling leather, and I decided to add leather details to this jacket to give it a bit of a different look. I just happen to have the perfect black and gold vintage zipper that I’m using for the front, and now I just have to figure out what kind of collar and cuffs and how to finish the bottom. Oh, and I forgot, it has pockets!! #49ersfaithful #upcycledjeans @Kristin Juszczyk @San Francisco 49ers

Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo has granted a pardon to jailed native doctor Chidozie Nwangwu, popularly known as Akwa Okuko Tiwara Aki, and appointed him as Ambassador for Youth Reformation in the state. Soludo announced the pardon on Friday during a visit to the Nigeria Correctional Service facility in Amawbia, where Nwangwu was serving his sentence. Nwangwu was among eight native doctors arrested in 2025 in connection with allegations involving the promotion of money rituals, quick-wealth practices and the use of human parts for ritual purposes. He later entered a plea bargain and was convicted after pleading guilty to charges relating to Okeite and related practices. Although the High Court in Awka sentenced him to two years, part of the sentence was ordered to run concurrently with time already spent in custody, leaving an effective 11 months to serve. As part of the conditions attached to his conviction and rehabilitation, Nwangwu was required to renounce his fetish practices and commit to becoming an ambassador for youth reformation. The court also ordered the destruction of his shrine in Oba, Idemili South Local Government Area. Nwangwu accepted the conditions and had been serving his sentence at the Amawbia facility before Soludo exercised his prerogative of mercy to secure his release. Soludo’s Special Adviser on Youth Reformation, Dr Nelson Omenugha, said the governor’s intervention reflects an approach centred on correction, restoration and giving offenders an opportunity to take on a constructive role in society. Nwangwu is now expected to support the state’s youth-reformation efforts and discourage practices associated with quick wealth and harmful ritual activities. 👉 Follow Daily Times Nigeria for more updates. #DailyTimesNigeria #Anambra #AkwaOkuko #Soludo #NigeriaNews
