I for one believe this is good. Intelligence isn’t about countries, it’s a common thread across all nations and borders. Think about it for a second, everyone talks about winning, but systems aren’t about winning, they are about real tangible enhancements. Sure, one of the countries will get there first, but what happens afterwards? The models were trained on language across the entire internet to identify patterns, that’s why the term LLMs (large language models). If anything, I’d be more worried about humans and how they use AI.
