Raw meat is great for dogs and cats for many reasons. Its good for their teeth coz its chewy, it has all the essentials that they need. The only thing that isnt great about it is the potential bacteria in them. Thats why we have canned food and dry food with meat in them for cats and dogs. Cats can never be vegans. They MUST EAT MEAT. Dogs are facultative carnivores. They thrive on meat but they can survive on plant based diet but not permanently

I'm vegan but I would never put my pets on a vegan diet. I worked in veterinary medicine for 15 years. I worked with many vegan veterinarians, and they wouldn't even recommend a vegan diet. it's just not healthy for our pets.
