Walked into Tiki Tatsu-Ya in Austin and somewhere between the door and my first drink, Texas just... disappeared. 🌺 It’s this incredible collision of worlds — tiki and Polynesian pop culture wrapped up in Japanese design and craftsmanship, tribal art from island cultures layered into every corner you look. The music was upbeat and funky, the kind that gets up on your feet before your brain even catches up, and it turned the whole night into a little tropical party of its own. Every cocktail came out in a handcrafted ceramic mug, and no two were the same — each one its own tiny piece of art. And the food was so fresh, so full of flavor, that it just added to the feeling that I hadn’t just walked into a restaurant, I’d walked into a whole new world. 10/10 experience.
