I read a lot of books, but the movie The Craft was all the rage when I was a teen, so I felt comfortable learning more about witchcraft in the late ‘90’s into the early 2000’s like over 20 years ago.

Lifelong (eclectic), PAGAN here, who met an Alexandrian Witch at a very young age. ... I am now 61 years old (and soon to be 62), and my journey has never been boring. ... I joined the O.T.O in 2010 and attained to 4th degree and P.I (Perfect initiate), status, in that fraternity back in 2015. ... Prior to my O.T.O days, I spent 20 years smoking crack cocaine (and heroin too, in the final few years). These days, I am over 15 years addiction free. ... Always felt the power & presence in nature trees forest lakes rivers storms etc. I realized as an adult after a series of events during a very difficult time I was and after reflecting realized I had been predicting outcomes accurately my entire life sometimes in dreams most times in just a knowing. Feeling a little crazy with my whole life in shambles totally miserable & dissatisfied with everything I ripped my life out by the roots. I went on a 2 month spirt quest into the desert packed up my stuff grabbed my 2 dogs & just left with no plan & little money. Threw out the rule book I had been force fed as a child (you know the one) and started asking myself what I believed what I felt & really examining my experience on this planet. Then I started to delve into spirt, ancestral roots, natural medicine, healing arts and Goddesses of magic, power & strength. I found myself, found & accepted my power.

A documentary about ancient civilizations that had a pattern that was exactly mirrored in Catholic religion. The same dates, the same planetary alignments, and so on and so forth. And that’s when I realized that it’s just a story that has been repeated for thousands of years, simply twisted and retold in different versions.
