After my dad died last year I needed something to do in my free time and I realized I had free will and took bart down the street from my house and got off at Tanforan. I probably stayed at the Barnes and noble for 3 hours reading, got some froyo, and took photo booth pictures. It was a really good day despite being alone and grieving. I remember my dad and I would drive around during Christmas times and I’d always stare at the Christmas light statues

I met my husband for the first time at this mall when we were 16, I was walking out of Forever 21 on the second floor and made a right and there he was walking towards me. All I remember is seeing his green eyes and thinking I'm definitely going to marry him one day. We've been together 18 years🥹

Christmas at Tanforan in the 80’s, the $1.75 movie theater downstairs, the free jukebox in the basement with all the model rooms, playing Ninja Turtles arcade for hours with my brother in the small food court, the haunted house they had for a few years in the early 90’s, field trips to the mall with Belle elementary This vid hurts 😞

Met my girlfriend in 1998 at Sears and married in 2003. Still together with 3 sons. I love the Tanforan Mall, San Bruno Calfornia.

Why is San Bruno not in your caption? That’s where Tanforan is. And yes, I said is. Most of it is empty, but there are still some places open. Target, the theatre, some of the food court, BJs, PetCo, Planet Fitness, Hallmark, and some other places.

I'm in my 50s and had my first job there at age 14 at the food court.. A&W and more I think it was called. my dad knew the manager so of course I was legally working full time at that age, he would leave me there all alone for hours and I did nothing but chill, friends from school would be hanging out in the food court.. I'm sure I have a lot of free hotdogs and fries... oh good memories, so sad they are closing 😞

Equinox EV Safety DRIVES :
I didn’t grow up here but we enjoyed 20 years of it. My kids had fun there and had recitals near JCP. We will miss it 🥺
