The slow mornings, taking her out for the day. Being present for all the little moments that I know I’ll never get back. 🥹 Because when I started this on maternity leave, I wasn’t dreaming about becoming some huge business owner. I wasn’t an influencer. I didn’t have an audience. I had no business experience. And I definitely didn’t know what I was doing. I was just a mum who knew I wanted more freedom. I didn’t want to spend five days a week away from my little girl and miss so much of her childhood just because I needed to earn money. So during nap times, evenings and whatever little pockets of time I could find, I started learning how to use Canva to create digital products and how to sell them through social media. I started with the goal of making an extra couple of hundred pounds a month. I had absolutely no idea where it would lead. Fast forward to now and I’ve been able to extend my maternity leave, reduce my hours at work by choice, spend more time with my daughter AND earn almost £300 over the last two days from my phone. And that’s why I’ll never stop talking about this.. ✨ More days at home with my daughter ✨ Reduced my hours at work ✨ Extended my maternity leave ✨ Consistent four-figure months ✨ More family time, days out and holidays ✨ Being able to say yes to things without stressing If you’re a mum currently worrying about maternity pay, going back to work, childcare or how you’re going to make your money stretch…I wish I’d found this sooner.
